FAQ & Troubleshooting

Common questions and solutions regarding the installation, configuration, and operation of FiveUXE Anticheat.

helpHow does Global Ban Synchronization work?

When a cheater is detected on any Fiveuxe-protected server with high confidence, their HWID and network hash are instantly added to our sovereign blacklist. All other servers in our network automatically reject their connection attempts within milliseconds.

helpDoes this cause FPS drops for players?

No. Our Lua agent is optimized for sub-millisecond execution cycles. Most monitoring is handled server-side to ensure player clients remain responsive and lag-free.

helpWill it conflict with other scripts?

Fiveuxe is designed to be environment-agnostic. We provide an extensive whitelist configuration for custom resources that might trigger false positives (e.g., custom movement scripts).

helpWhat if a ban is a false positive?

Our Pro and Enterprise tiers include a manual review request system. Server owners have ultimate authority and can override global bans if they provide sufficient evidence of error.

helpHow hard is the installation?

Fiveuxe is a simple resource folder drag-and-drop. Once you authorize your license key in the dashboard, the system self-configures and begins monitoring immediately.

Common Issues & Fixes

buildSome of my scripts stopped working after installing Fiveuxe

That means the anticheat is blocking events those resources fire. Open your live server console, the blocked events are listed there, then add them to your whitelist in the panel under the relevant module config. The resource works normally once whitelisted. Fiveuxe runs beneath your framework, so most conflicts are a one-time whitelist.

buildSome players can't connect after enabling Fiveuxe

Check the live console for what is being blocked at connection and whitelist any legitimate resource or event in the panel. If a specific player still can't get in, send us their exact error message or a screenshot in a Discord ticket and support will pinpoint it quickly.

buildA player was banned with a generic reason like "Anomaly"

Every detection is backed by evidence in your panel. Open the detection there for the full context, or raise a Discord ticket and support will pull the detailed breakdown. We are actively expanding generic reason strings so each one ships with detailed info by default.

buildMy server feels heavier than before. Is that normal?

There is a short resource spike when players connect, while Fiveuxe validates and syncs each session, and it can stay elevated for roughly the first 5 minutes after a restart or a join wave. After that it settles back down. Detection is server-side with a sub-millisecond client agent, so players keep their FPS. If usage stays high well past that window, open a ticket and we will review your config.

buildPlayers can't spawn props / props are getting blocked

That is Entity Protection stopping spawn abuse. To allow specific props, add them to the whitelist in the panel under the Entity Protection config. Legitimate props spawn normally once whitelisted.

Troubleshooting

Server Not Authenticating

Ensure your server IP matches the one registered to your license key in the dashboard. Check your console for HTTP connection errors.

False Positives on Custom Scripts

If a legitimate script (like a custom admin menu) is triggering the anticheat, add its trigger events to the Exemptions list in the Web Dashboard under Event Protection.

High Latency Warnings

If you see warnings about sync latency, ensure your server artifacts are up to date (17000+) and that your host is not heavily throttling outbound HTTPS requests.
